Meaning of the Sigil ring

This symbol first appeared in an Italian manuscript, The Grimoire of Truth, in the 16th century. The X symbolizes power on the physical plane. The inverted triangle is the alchemical symbol for water and the "V" represents duality. The whole sigil evokes a chalice, symbol of creation.
